This pot is an art piece and utility article at the same time: it is a jar, vase and special detail of the interior. Wheelthrown black clay. Glazed inside so it’s waterproof. Outer surface of the pot is matte. Size: H 26 cm V 2,5 litres.
All the products are handcrafted in small batches, with each item having its own unique handprint. Products are made in North Karelia, Finland, by Henriikka Leppänen. Clay as a material is filled with energy that has travelled through ice ages and gains it’s final form in the heat of the kiln.
